Boo Ha Ha

The 10th annual Boo Ha Ha will be held on Saturday October 14, 2017 from 3-6pm at the Aurora Highlands community center/surrounds. The “Boo” is a beloved neighborhood tradition.

The “Boo” is a free, inclusive, family-friendly event – organized entirely by volunteers – that brings together residents from the Aurora Highlands, Arlington Ridge, and Crystal City communities for an afternoon of fall fun featuring a horse-drawn hayride, face painting, a local banjo band, moonbounces, and more. Last year’s Boo Ha Ha was the largest to date, with over 600 attendees.

All activities at the Boo are free, and the event is organized entirely by volunteers who live in the neighborhood.

To pull off another successful Boo and accommodate a growing number of attendees, we’re looking to raise additional support from residents as well as local businesses. Don’t wait until the day-of to toss a contribution in the hat; please consider making a contribution now to support the planning, security deposits, and work that goes on all summer long to bring the Boo to life in October.

Every $10 received helps another neighborhood child enjoy all the Boo has to offer!

There are also still opportunities to sponsor and to volunteer. Sign up to volunteer or email aurorahighlandsboohaha@gmail.com for more information.
