This is the first of two Long Range Planning Committee meetings for the PenPlace/Amazon HQ2 site.

• Tthe site design guidelines have been updated; study those as well.  They are hiding as a document titled “other….” towards the end of the list on this page: https://archives.arlingtonva.us/publicaccess/permitarlington.aspx?OBKey__789_1=SPLA21-00008  The good news is that all the pages after p. 23 are blank!  (appears that they added their edits/updates (in red) to the existing 2014 guidelines – very hard to read.)

HOW TO VIEW AND PARTICIPATE

This meeting will be held through electronic communication means in compliance with the Code of Virginia and Arlington County’s Continuity of Operations Ordinance. The meeting will be open to virtual attendance by the public and closed to in-person attendance.

• Commission members, staff, applicants, and public comments will be hosted by teleconference/ videoconference via Microsoft Teams.
• Meeting access information is provided on the LRPC webpage.
• Closed captioning is available for this meeting by viewing it through the Microsoft Teams free app.
• Audio is available from the dial-in phone option.
• A recording of the meeting will be posted to the County website LRPC webpage within two business days after the meeting.

The LRPC is a committee of the Planning Commission. The public may observe the meetings, but participation in the discussion is limited to members of the Planning Commission unless otherwise recognized by the Committee chair.
