ABOUT THE MEETING

This virtual meeting is an opportunity to learn and provide feedback about Phase 2 of the Route 1 Multimodal Improvements Study, which is identifying enhanced multimodal connectivity and accommodations along Route 1 (Richmond Highway) from 12th Street South to 23rd Street South to meet the changing transportation needs of the Crystal City and Pentagon City communities. This meeting will also include an overview of multimodal traffic analyses, potential bus stop relocations and status of grant funding.

ABOUT THE STUDY

The second phase of this study is further assessing the feasibility of the at-grade roadway recommended in the first phase. Phase 2, scheduled for completion in early 2023, will not set design or construction dates. For more details on VDOT’s plans for Phase 2, please visit thestudy website.
