Renaming Jefferson Davis Highway – April 25 Public Meeting Notice

The Arlington County Board is holding a public hearing on Thursday April 25 before deciding on a resolution to rename the stretch of Route 1 in Arlington to “Richmond Highway”.

The initiative to change the name has been pursued for years by the County and many residents and a new state Attorney General opinion appears to finally make it possible. See the attached flyer for more details.
